In September of 2006 the high school library was destroyed by fire, to see pictures click here. A temporary library has been set up in portable buildings while the district determines how to build a new library. The current proposal is for a 6-12 library which will need passage of a bond issue to enable construction. 	The library collection consists of over 9,000 books, including an up-to-date reference section, curriculum-based non-fiction, a biography section, and a fiction collection. The library subscribes to 43 magazines and two newspapers. Resources also include a collection of art prints and videos. The library has 9 networked PC workstations offering Internet access, an online library catalog, research databases, and Our Times and Culture Grams CD-ROM software.
